About Health Solutions in Studio City
We've been delivering quality chiropractic care to the Sherman Oaks and Studio City community since 2004.
1. Relief Care
When many people seek care in our office they have one goal: relief. So that’s where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:
- Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
- Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible
- Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery
- Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care
2. Corrective Care
After symptomatic relief, most patients choose to pursue Corrective Care. This is where you'll make dramatic,longer-lasting postural changes. During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. This is done through a combination of adjustments, traction and exercises.
Adjustments help improve integrity to the spine, decrease abnormal weight distribution and avoid spinal degeneration.
Traction helps retrain and remodel the spine to counter the effects of long-standing postural distortions.
- Exercises, designed for each patient’s particular spinal abnormality, are used to strengthen weaker areas of the spine.
2. Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. We encourage outpatients to achieve the highest levels of health they can. Our desire is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.
You’re the Boss
Regardless of your health goals, please understand that we see ourselves as mere servants. You’re the boss! It’s your body, your health and your future. Our job is to offer you the finest chiropractic care possible, and it’s up to you to decide how much of it you want.
